Did as suggested and installed v4.0 still no luck now getting this error

I'm obviously missing something think I followed the instructions to the letter, but now spent hours on this and getting nowhere - any help would be much appreciated.

out of curiosity what version is sermon speaker on Joomla 1.5 running?

Apparently something went wrong and the migration script didn't run correctly.
In the install zipfile, there is a migrate.sql file. This file contains the database changes needed to update the database from SermonSpeaker 3.4.3 to SermonSpeaker 4.0.
You can use this to manually apply the changes in a database tool like phpMyAdmin. You just need to change the #__ part to your Joomla prefix. As an example:

#__sermon_sermons

becomes

jos_sermon_sermons

After that you can copy the whole file or line by line and run the command directly in the database.

Mmmmmmm ok, don't know if I'm confident enough to try this, but many thanks anyway.
