Support for SermonSpeaker 4.x is canceled as it is for Joomla 2.5. I will gladly assist you with minor issues but I will not fix any bugs anymore in this releases.
The fix is to upgrade to SermonSpeaker 5.x and Joomla 3.x, which is better anyway.

Hi,
Thanx for your help on this, I had to disable everything shortly after contacting you.
I'm now trying to get this to work on a different site, same problem.
I have ss smart finder and ss search plugins enabled
I have a joomla smart search and regular search module set up here
I'll leave these up while you take a look.
Thanx again
Mark

Sorry, just learning the joomla smart search module.
I indexed my content, now in the search module I get
search by author, country, category, etc. All joomla stuff, not ss speaker "speaker," or "series."
I'm sure there's something I'm missing..

So you have the SermonSpeaker Smart Search (Finder) plugin (not the regular search one) installed and enabled? The search page looks like you don't have enabled any Smart Search plugin at all.
Also you need to go to the SmartSearch component and initialise the thing.

Since the search now at least works, I guess you only miss the SermonSpeaker finder plugin, or you didn't enable it.Mark Landry wrote: Sorry, just learning the joomla smart search module.

I had both sermonspeaker plugins enabled. Just disabled the regular one. Now just the smart search plugin is enabled.
I've already gone to the smart search component and indexed the content. Not sure what you mean by initializing it..
Thanx again
