I just re-checked. Yes, I have replaced the serie, speaker and sermon files.

Can you check your server error log if there are any warnings?
And try enabling the Joomla error reporting to see if you get any message.

No warnings/errors with Joomla's debugging. The only errors in the log file when I go to the series page are several instances of the following. I'm no log expert, but I would think that these are not relevant to the issue at hand.

I don't see any relevant error neither.

I don't know why this doesn't work for you. I only see two options: Either the files didn't get placed correctly for some reason, or the server caches the files for a ridiculous amount of time.

Maybe it's safer to wait for the next release of SermonSpeaker which should be due in first half of october I think. if you can wait that long.
