Support for SermonSpeaker 5.x is in bugfix mode only, the same as it is for Joomla 3.10.
I will not add any new features to this releases.
Please upgrade to SermonSpeaker 6.x and Joomla 4.x, which is better anyway.

Ah, thanks. That seemed to do the trick!
For your reference I did get some errors (see attached), but just updated a second time and all okay.
The only slit problem I'm left with is that my sermons at www.the-rock.org.uk/media-pages/listen-to-sermons are not strictly in chronological order - the top two should be the other way around!

I think that error appears if you update multiple extensions at the same time. I couldn't track it down yet but to me it looks like a bug in the Joomla installer (caching manifest or so).
The defaultorder can be set in the backend. It's either "Ordering", "Date" or "Title". In your case it seems to be "Ordering" which means you can se drag and drop in the sermon manager to change the ordering (after you sorted by "Ordering" there).
