Support for SermonSpeaker 5.x is in bugfix mode only, the same as it is for Joomla 3.10.
I will not add any new features to this releases.
Please upgrade to SermonSpeaker 6.x and Joomla 4.x, which is better anyway.

When I press the player button a blank page comes up with the title of my audio file. The site is lccmoncure.org.

Can you try with the attached version? I think I fixed something in my development version which sounds like what you describe.

Just install it over the existing SermonSpeaker. Joomla will detect the existing installation and perform an update instead of an installation. All your data will be safe.

Of course a backup every now and then is recommended anyway. B)

If you uninstall, you will loose your data.
You do an update, not a fresh installation. So no, don't uninstall the existing one :)
