Support for SermonSpeaker 5.x is in bugfix mode only, the same as it is for Joomla 3.10.
I will not add any new features to this releases.
Please upgrade to SermonSpeaker 6.x and Joomla 4.x, which is better anyway.

After writing that I realized that the player 5 is old. So I downloaded the JW Player 7 and put the code in, disabled 5, enabled 7 and generic. I see the player, it recognizes the sermon, but still won't play.
Thanks

You don't need the generic. Just use the JW Player 7 plugin (and put the license key in).
I would need a link to the site to tell you more.

Okay great. The JW Player 7 is enabled, license key is in, generic player is disabled.

I get a "Media Error" in the browser console when trying to play the file. It also doesn't play when I try to access it directly (
www.columbiacsl.org/ccslpods/01-be-deliberate.mp3
).
When I download the file and try to open it with Windows Media Player, it gives me a warning that the filetype isn't really an mp3 file.
So it looks like you have some strange file format there which the player can't handle.

Oh my goodness. After you told me this I deleted all old media files and started over and it is working. Thank you so much for your patience and help.
