Support for SermonSpeaker 4.x is canceled as it is for Joomla 2.5. I will gladly assist you with minor issues but I will not fix any bugs anymore in this releases.
The fix is to upgrade to SermonSpeaker 5.x and Joomla 3.x, which is better anyway.

There are two modes for the Facebook Opengraph tags. Try the "article" one for pictures.

The first screenshot you posted shows an "artist" entry. This one is only shown if the mode is set to "movie/song". So you probably didn't have it set to "article" at the time of the publishing.

In any case, I would need an URL to see what happens. The sourcecode would show the OG tags.

Can you give an example (screenshot) where Facebook shows the author? I don't think they do.

SermonSpeaker offers the author in a regular meta tag as the name and in an OpenGraph tag as a link to the speaker page. It's up to Facebook what it does with that information.
