Support for SermonSpeaker 3.x is canceled as it is for Joomla 1.5. I will gladly assist you with minor issues but I will not fix any bugs anymore in this releases.
The fix is to upgrade to SermonSpeaker 4.x, which is better anyway.

The problem is that the feed starts with two blank lines. That means something is producing an (empty) output before SermonSpeaker is in charge. Most of the time this is done by either a system plugin or a content plugin. Try disabling all such plugins and see if the error goes away. If it goes away, then enable one plugin after each other and check which one is causing the issue ;)

Just Found and Awesome Component "ReReplacer" can replace and remove scripture links javaScript output and spaces from RSS feed.

It's indeed quite a nice component. It even allows you to replace stuff only on selected menu entries.
If you have any issues with plugins or components doing weird stuff, this may really help you.
