I don't know about that Thomas, there are some Russian singers that sing in churches that if you did not know better you'd think they perform everyday at Bolshoi theater in Moscow or at broadway. those guys are being taught from childhood how to sing.

I said "usually". I'm sure there are exceptions
However I'd probably still rather buy a CD from those singers than listening to them on a podcast.
