I hate to ask you this but I'm having trouble finding the ss.css file. Can you give a idea where it can be found?

I think we would want to only modify the ss page and not make the changes globally to the whole site.

You should always put custom CSS rules into a CSS file from your template. Otherwise the changes will be lost as soon as you upgrade SermonSpeaker the next time.
If you use InternetExplorer, you can press F12 and get some development tools. If you click "CSS" there it will show you the locations of all loaded CSS files, including the one from SermonSpeaker (first one, as it's usually loaded first).
Best way would be to use my rule (the second one) and put it into the file Andrei said. This will make sure it's only applied to SermonSpeaker tables but not overwritten by each upgrade.
