Wrong encoding of Title after MP3 import through Tools

Wrong encoding of Title after MP3 import through Tools was created by Radovan
Hi Thomas.
ID3v2.4 UTF-8 or ID3v2.3 UTF-16 encodings (tags crated in Mp3tag software) generates wrong Titles (from MP3) after creating sermons through Sermon Speaker Tools (Search orphaned files). There are not supported some special letters in Slovak lang. This is in Sermon Speaker problem in the J4 and J5. In Joomla 3 this was not a problem. But Joomla itself (J5), in Sermon Speaker, saves correct letters when is title corrected (after sermon created through Tools).
Example:
Generated title after import through Tools from MP3 - in title tag: Predmanelský vzah (missing some letters)
Original text: Predmanželský vzťah
Thanks for reply,
Radovan

Thanks for the example and the mention that it worked in Joomla 3, that helped a lot to find the issue.
The library which reads the ID3 tags changed the order the tags were returned so the ID3v2 tags come now before the ID3v1 tags (which makes it more userfriendly). The ID3v1 tags don't support your special characters while the ID3v2 tags support it.
That's why it worked in J3 and no longer in newer versions (where I have updated that library).
I'm now once again take the ID3v2 tags and it should work again

Hi Thomas,
thank you for fast reply. I have installed the component from your last comment over an existing installation of Sermon Speaker (6.1.6), and it works. Perfect!
Now are my titles correctly imported from MP3 tags (I am using "ID3v2.4 UTF-8" encoding).
Thank you for big help.
