Can't Upload MP3 file

Hi, I have tried over the years to use SermonSpeaker and always give up because I can never get it to work properly, despite people saying it is simple to use and configure. I have a new Joomla 4 install, so decided to give it another try, because I like the flexibility of the front-end display etc, compared to PreachIt for example. This time I actually did find it easy to configure, but now I can't upload MP3 files from the admin back-end. Says the file type is not allowed. the filetype IS allowed in my settings, PHP allows a filesize of a maximum of 512MB, I set the Joomla maximum filesize to 50mb and tried to upload a 20mb file. This is kind of my last hurrah before I give up on SermonSpeaker forever. can you assist?
 

Are you able to upload mp3 files using the Joomla media manager?
Did you save the SermonSpeaker options?

That would be the first two points I would check.

Hi. Yes, I have successfully uploaded an mp3 file using both the Joomla 4 media manager and the JCE editor. Checked the sermonspeaker settings - definitely saved. Still tells me the filetype is not allowed.

Looks as though I may have resolved the issue - filetype was in capitals- MP3. Changed it to lowercase - .mp3, and it uploaded. SermonSpeaker appears to be case-sensitive!

Ah, that's a good find! I think I can fix that and always compare lowercased.
