Support for SermonSpeaker 5.x is in bugfix mode only, the same as it is for Joomla 3.10.
I will not add any new features to this releases.
Please upgrade to SermonSpeaker 6.x and Joomla 4.x, which is better anyway.

I installed the component and plugins, published and saved each plugin; however when I attempt to upload an mp3 or a video file (eg. mp4, mpeg) to images directory (or to a subdirectory under parent folder images), I get either a Mime error or Error
This file type is not supported. Help!

If you get this error during upload itself, check the SermonSpeaker options. There is a tab "Editing" and there you can specify a coma-separated list of file types. Make sure your file extensions are in the list for "Audio Filetypes" and "Video Filetypes". By default, mp3 and mp4 should be there already.
