Support for SermonSpeaker 5.x is in bugfix mode only, the same as it is for Joomla 3.10.
I will not add any new features to this releases.
Please upgrade to SermonSpeaker 6.x and Joomla 4.x, which is better anyway.

speaker view not as expected was created by Cherry
Setup:
Speakers are published, main speaker has brief content for bio - intro
Layout is - single speaker - blog
Columns - single speaker - intro and bio are both selected
What happens:
Frontend, clicking on speaker's name gives a greyed out screen.
Right clicking and 'open in new tab' gives a new URL, but does not display single speaker view, instead a list of sermons.
Not urgent, but help would be great if possible
Thank you

I'm at holidays at the moment, so dont't have access to a computer.
However that sounds like the speaker popover doesn't work properly.
You can try with the default template "Protostar" if it works there. If it does, it's likely related to the template.
A simple fix would be to just disable the Speaker Popup ib the SermonSpeaker options.

After looking at the page, pretty sure it's an issue with the T3 template.
SermonSpeaker uses here a Bootstrap Modal which usually works perfectly fine. Maybe your template uses an adapted Bootstrap version which overrides the default behaviour.
As I wrote before, the simplest fix is to just disable the popup in the options.
