Support for SermonSpeaker 5.x is in bugfix mode only, the same as it is for Joomla 3.10.
I will not add any new features to this releases.
Please upgrade to SermonSpeaker 6.x and Joomla 4.x, which is better anyway.

Podcast/RSS not working as expected was created by Michael Becker
Hi Thomas!
We are trying to consume the Sermon Speaker Feed with some Joomla modules from a 2nd website. None of the existing modules is able to read the feed without error messages.
e.g.
"Simple RSS Feed Reader" error message
Failed loading XML... EntityRef: expecting ';' EntityRef: expecting ';'
We tried to replace "&" in the URL but this did not work.
A 2nd issue comes up, if we try to put our sermons via PodCast module into Apples ituns or other public podcast services. We always need to convert it with an internet tool.
Our website is
www.gottesdienst-tv.de/
Feed: www.gottesdienst-tv.de/online-predigten/audio-podcast
(you can find more options within menu point "Mediathek").
Any ideas?

When checking with the feed validator it shows a few errors:
www.feedvalidator.org/check.cgi?url=http...gten%2Faudio-podcast
You can ignore the "url mus be a full URL" ones as they are a false positive due to https URLs. They're fine.
The others need to be fixed:
The email obviously must be an email address but shouldn't break the feed.
The XML parsing error is probably the source of the issue. Try changing the filename of that sermon so it doesn't contain an ampersand (&). It may be that this causes the issue.

Thank you, Thomas.
We will do the proposed changes and come back to you if the issues still exist.
