Support for SermonSpeaker 5.x is in bugfix mode only, the same as it is for Joomla 3.10.
I will not add any new features to this releases.
Please upgrade to SermonSpeaker 6.x and Joomla 4.x, which is better anyway.

The files are there on Amazon, but clicking the play button just gives a brief flash, then nothing. I am using the com_ file that you sent on the forum to fix the pagination issue, so I think I have the latest version possible.
Interestingly, my other installation of SS works perfectly.

There seems to be a permission issue or CORB.
"Cross-Origin Read Blocking (CORB) blocked cross-origin response s3.amazonaws.com/sermons-cpc/7-22-2018-d...rev-john-evans-3.mp3 with MIME type application/xml. See www.chromestatus.com/feature/5629709824032768 for more details." is what my console tells me.

Odd, it was working earlier this week. So this is an Amazon isse? I get the same result in FF and IE so I don't see it as related to Chrome only.

OK I believe I have found the answer. The file names are in the format of:
02-25-2018 Nineveh Awakened - Rev. John Evans.mp3
I had uploaded the files in bulk to S3 and then selected them via SS. It seems this upset S3 and/or SS. When I uploaded a file from my desktop via SS it worked perfectly, but I noted the "-" had been inserted and capitalization removed, like so:
02-25-2018-nineveh-awakened-rev-john-evans.mp3
I'm unsure why it doesn't like spaces, but it appears this is an S3 thing as I read it in a post elsewhere. I also find SS doesn't like underscores in filenames either. I renamed the file initially with underscores (normally pretty innocuous) and the SS would not show the player - JW Player 6 - when that sermon was displayed in the list.
Also capitalization breaks playback. Even after I went into S3 and changed capitalization and added "-" to all the spaces, I still couldn't get playback despite having reselected the files. I had to physically delete the file and allow SS to upload.
I'm sure I bulk uploaded directly to S3 before and selected this way and had it work, but it's not anymore.

Spaces in URLs would have to be encoded to be valid. If you upload the files using SermonSpeaker, it will make sure the filenames don't contain invalid characters for URLs. Eg spaces are stripped and replaced with a "-".

So after finding that out I did an experiment. I renamed a file to the correct form - all lower case, inserted hyphens, made sure no spaces. I uploaded that file, made a test sermon entry, then assigned that file to it. Playback failed.
I would really like to system to work as I have 5 years of back sermons that I really want to have in their own year folders.
