Support for SermonSpeaker 5.x is in bugfix mode only, the same as it is for Joomla 3.10.
I will not add any new features to this releases.
Please upgrade to SermonSpeaker 6.x and Joomla 4.x, which is better anyway.

I'm not available for hiring. Simply because I have a fulltime job and my free time would be to expensive
I'm a bit hesitant to build such a plugin simply because I don't use CB myself and would have to figure out first how that thing works.
However I wonder if we can't work with the already existing modules. I could for examle implement a filter to the "Latest Sermons Module" which would only show sermons created by the active user. This way, it would be useful for anyone, not just for CB users.
As for the upload link, there exists already an upload module and of course you can already create menulinks to create a new sermon.

Hello, That would be a great idea, the filter would work. How hard would that be to do? Awesome!

It isn't hard to do. Can you try the attached version?
Under "Filters" there is a new option "Created by User". Turn that on and check if it's what you expect.

Hello, that was a great idea and indeed it seemed like it works well. Now, one more thing I would like to ask. In regards to the uploading of pictures from the front end.The file path defaults to images and is relative to the Joomla root. Is there a way to not have that access anything from the joomla server only to the users drive? So just like when a user uploads the sermon files it takes the user to their hard drive. Can the pictures upload button be made to do the same with a filter? Thanks

The picture field in the sermon form uses the Joomla media formfield. That one allows to upload images to the server. Just scroll down a bit in the modal that opens. Below the image selection is an upload form.
