SermonSpeaker 5.7.0, how to add new sermon with no preselected speaker

Hi,
I've just updated to SermonSpeaker 5.7.0.
In

it says:
"Active list filters are now used as preselection when creating a new sermon, series or speaker"
Well, now I see the speaker that is the default speaker is preselected. If I want to select an other speaker I first have to press the "leeren" (german locale, perhaps delete?) link. Than I'm provided with a new link to select a speaker.
Two questens:
- How can a disable the preselection?
- Could SermonSpeaker provide the selection button to select an other speaker without first have to delete the default selection?

If you have already an active filter (Smart Search filtered by a specific speaker), then that speaker should be preselected, otherwise the "default" speaker is preselected. At least that's the intention
If you already have set a default speaker, you could try to change the default to a dummy speaker and then delete that dummy speaker. That should leave you with no default speaker. Thought I haven't tried that.

For the current field I followed how other modal selection fields in core are done (eg the article selection modal). I can have a look if I can always show the select button, but probably earliest next week.

Thanks for your idea setting a dummy speaker the default one and delete that dummy. That did the trick.
Now that you told me you are using the standard Joomla behavior (select is available only if no speaker is selected) I think it might by best not to change this to keep usage the same in different parts of Joomla.
