Support for SermonSpeaker 5.x is in bugfix mode only, the same as it is for Joomla 3.10.
I will not add any new features to this releases.
Please upgrade to SermonSpeaker 6.x and Joomla 4.x, which is better anyway.

Hi,
I'm trying to improve the automation of creating Sermons. I think I can do this if I get the MP3 tags correct.

Can you please help me with which version of MP3 tags SermonSpeaker reads? I am using MP3tag to edit the data and it offers me v2.4 or v2.3UTF-16 or 2.3 ISO-8859-1. There are a few others but these seem the most likely. Which should I use?

Currently Year, title and Artist come in fine, but month, time and comment don't seem to come in quite right.

v2.3 and encoded as UTF should give the best results, however the library should be able to read also v2.4 I think.
When writing the ID3 tags, v2.3 and UTF-8 is being used.
