Support for SermonSpeaker 5.x is in bugfix mode only, the same as it is for Joomla 3.10.
I will not add any new features to this releases.
Please upgrade to SermonSpeaker 6.x and Joomla 4.x, which is better anyway.

Link to menu item for sermons in serie view

Dear Thomas,
In the sermon list in a single serie, I note that the URL link to the entries are:
http://mysite//sermon/9999-xxxx
where MenuItem seems to be the first menu item defined with type SermonSpeaker. (I may guess wrong.)
It was unlucky for me that I didn't create a generic menu item like "listings" in your demo site. Mine is a series list menu item to a particular category of series.
The really bad thing is that the breadcrumb module takes that menu item and show this:
Home > MyFirstSermonSpeakerMenuItem > MySerie > MySermon
And then I try that I could literally replace MenuItem in the URL to just any Menu Item of SermonSpeaker type and I could reach the same sermon. Of course breadcrumb shows that arbitrary menu item that I put in. It is very misleading to the visitor.
How can I change the links in the sermon list (of serie view) so that they point to their logical place, such as their serie's alias?
Thank you.

Ken

SermonSpeaker has some code in its RouteHelper which tries to be clever and searchs for the best matching menuitem. Sometimes that fails but most of time it actually works quite well, it depends a lot on the available menuitems.
If there are multiple menuitems that are seen as a similar fit, then the first one found will be taken.

However the router doesn't try to fit the sermons to a series for the routing. It will first look for a menuitem for that specific sermon, and then one of the type "Sermons List"
For series, it will look for a matching single series menuitem and if not available for a series list one.
Same for speakers.
