Support for SermonSpeaker 5.x is in bugfix mode only, the same as it is for Joomla 3.10.
I will not add any new features to this releases.
Please upgrade to SermonSpeaker 6.x and Joomla 4.x, which is better anyway.
Recently updated Joomla to 3.6.5 and now my audio will not play with JW Player 7 - 5.4.2 plugin. I'm using SermonSpeaker 5.5.4. After much troubleshooting I figure the issue is with this plugin. If I change the priority from video (which works fine) to audio first it will play the first time. But if you click the Audio button to refresh it won't play. Maybe its something with the Audio Button. I get no errors but the loading animation. Anyone else having this issue? My website: wapakag.com/podcasts
I tried to replicate it locally but couldn't. So I don't know where that could come from.
Can you try with different settings in the plugin? Maybe also try if it only happens with the cloud based player or also with the self hosted one?
I got it working by switching from Cloud to Self and JW Player updated their license on 1/5/17 for the Self-Hosted Player (7.8.7). After copying the new license it starting working again. God is good and so are you! Thanks for the tip!
