Support for SermonSpeaker 5.x is in bugfix mode only, the same as it is for Joomla 3.10.
I will not add any new features to this releases.
Please upgrade to SermonSpeaker 6.x and Joomla 4.x, which is better anyway.

Does anyone know how to look at your statistics just for the last year? I have not been resetting the statistics on our sermons. I would like to pole the number of hits that occurred just during the last year - but the sermon could be from any time period and not just last year. It would be interesting to see the results.

The statistics within SermonSpeaker is only a counter. You can't see when the hits happend.
If you need that, you need to set up a real statistic tool like Google Analytics or Piwik.
