Backend Sermons ordering and Series ordering

Dear Thomas,
At back-end, I notice the default sermons listing is sorting by category_title (as seen in getListQuery), when the user had not click a sorting column header yet.
Series listing, is however, by default sorted by title, without going through a "sort by category_title" state. How can I make series listing behave like that of sermons?
Or how can I make series default sort order by ID.

By default, the sermons listings are sorted according to the settings in the options.
The series and speakers listings are sorted by title.

The code you saw is in case the sorting is set to "ordering". There it will be sorted by category first and then ordering because this allows you to rearrange the ordering.

If you want to change that behavior, you could overwrite the SermonSpeaker models (hack the files and loose any changes during an update) or try doing a system plugin which sets the default values in the request before the SermonSpeaker models fetch the request.
