Support for SermonSpeaker 5.x is in bugfix mode only, the same as it is for Joomla 3.10.
I will not add any new features to this releases.
Please upgrade to SermonSpeaker 6.x and Joomla 4.x, which is better anyway.
I just recently updated to the newest release, upon updating I noticed the favicon has disappeared... just wondering if anyone else has had this issue?
SermonSpeaker doesn't do anything with the favicon. That's completely left to Joomla itself.
Joomla will look in the root directory and in the directory of the active template for a favicon and include it if present.
You are absolutely right, I found the issue. It was my scripts not loading from the page. Your answer here sent me in the right direction. It just so happened the problem arose shortly after implementing the update... yet was completely unrelated.
