Support for SermonSpeaker 5.x is in bugfix mode only, the same as it is for Joomla 3.10.
I will not add any new features to this releases.
Please upgrade to SermonSpeaker 6.x and Joomla 4.x, which is better anyway.

I've adopted a player module to use MediaElement.js ( mediaelementjs.com ).
You'll find the player module at github.com/tuxuser06/SermonSpeaker-MeJsPlayer
The config is very simple. The main thing is to choose audio or video.
No toggle, no size, no...
I've just put it on our churches web page:
