Support for SermonSpeaker 5.x is in bugfix mode only, the same as it is for Joomla 3.10.
I will not add any new features to this releases.
Please upgrade to SermonSpeaker 6.x and Joomla 4.x, which is better anyway.

I am trying to use JW player 7.
I downloaded JW Player 7 plugin and installed it. I set at Global Configuration Sermon Speaker Player to use "Plugin".
Then I disabled the JW Player 5 and 6 plugins and leave only version 7 plugin published.
Pages loaded with the Pixel Out player and not JW player at all.
I tried downloaded jwplayer-7.2.4.zip and unzip the player folder to <document root>/media/jwadvanced/player and named it "7", along with "6" in the same folder. But it comes to no where.
What have I missed?

If you're using the "Icon" layout, then that one is hardcoded to use the Pixelout player. All other Players don't look good anyway with that layout.
Try another layout and see if that works then.
