Support for SermonSpeaker 5.x is in bugfix mode only, the same as it is for Joomla 3.10.
I will not add any new features to this releases.
Please upgrade to SermonSpeaker 6.x and Joomla 4.x, which is better anyway.

I have set up sermoncast and it is working fine in Firefox and tested fine in iTunes with the raw link; however, it isn't working in Chrome and Edge. In Chrome it just displays the html code. In Edge it gives an error that it couldn't be downloaded.

Testing it with my own feed it behaves the same. How a feed is displayed depends on the browser you use.
IE11 will format it nicely, while Chrome just shows the XML response. Edge seems to be broken when it comes to RSS feeds.
That's not something which is broken in SermonSpeaker, it's something which is broken in those browsers.

You can also check yourself if the feed validates by using validator.w3.org/feed/
