Series Order on Speaker's Page

How can I change the order of a list of multiple series under a single speaker? It appears to be ordering by date ascending. My default order is date descending, and it works perfectly for a list of sermons on any layout; I just cannot get a list of series under a single speaker to sort properly.

I am probably missing something obvious...

The series should follow the ordering you have in your Series Manager in the backend. Go there, sort by "ordering" and move the series around till it matches what you want. There is no date stored for series
The default order you can set in the options only applies to the sermons.

Thanks for the quick reply! I think I am beginning to understand why I was having a problem, but I have another question. How do categories affect that ordering? We have different series assigned to different categories, and I am having trouble figuring out the order of the series relative to which category they are assigned to.

I would have to test myself as I wrote that code long ago. I would say it's either ordered by category first and then series, or it ignores the category completely and only orders by the series ordering. Can't say for sure which way it does.
