Front-end sorting by date

I am using SermonSpeaker v5.4.5 on Joomla v3.4.3.

I have set the default ordering to be by Date and Descending ( gyazo.com/cfa13f1af92d772fb62f8a79cce3d98a )
I have set the sermon layout to be a list ( gyazo.com/193fcfb5ec1c905af50cb01542aa0594 )
I have set the menu item to point to the sermon list for the "Sermons" category ( gyazo.com/a68ecdbb635e996a61097e9c7e6e4692 )

In my sermons list, however, I get a sort ordering that's slightly odd. Here's a screenshot of the list: gyazo.com/31ccf26064fa02d896f73d31d5ea8248

Have I missed something? I would be glad to provide more information if this is not enough.

Sounds like Joomla has a page cached. Can you try turning of Joomla caching in the global config and see if that solves the issue?

Caching had already been turned off, but I went through and did "purge expired cache", deleted a page cache, and then accessed the page. I'm not sure whether it was those actions or just coming back to it a day later with a fresh browser cache, but it's showing the correct sort order now.
