Support for SermonSpeaker 5.x is in bugfix mode only, the same as it is for Joomla 3.10.
I will not add any new features to this releases.
Please upgrade to SermonSpeaker 6.x and Joomla 4.x, which is better anyway.

When multiple pages are needed, links at the bottom of the list provide for navigation to the different pages of sermons. All the links that are after the current page give a URL like ( ahbaptistchurch.org/index.php/resources/...ons/sermons?start=40 ) but all the links that are prior to the current page give a ULR like )
ahbaptistchurch.org/index.php/resources/sermons/sermons ). This prevents being able to navigate to a previous page.

I have Sermon Speaker 5.2 installed.

It is only the "first" previous link that is not using the ?start=1 So, when you click on the first link, it only refreshes with the list that is currently visible. Once, you go forward, you can never get back to the first page.

Did you try on Joomla 3.4.3? It's a known bug in Joomla 3.4.1 and should be fixed by now.
