Support for SermonSpeaker 5.x is in bugfix mode only, the same as it is for Joomla 3.10.
I will not add any new features to this releases.
Please upgrade to SermonSpeaker 6.x and Joomla 4.x, which is better anyway.

The latest sermon module use to work fine. Several updates ago it broke and is still broke. Just haven't gotten to it. In oder for the latest sermon to be posted and visible I have to open the module in Joomla and save it. I have the module set to show the latest 8 sermons. Any ideas? The Module is shown on our home page. www.calvarymemorialchurch.org

That sounds like an issue with caching. Do you have any caching options enabled within Joomla and if so which one? You may also want to check the module and try adjusting the caching parameters there. However I'm not even sure if they make a difference. It's long ago since I last tested that caching stuff.

Thomas, Thanks as usual for the prompt service. I check the cache for joomla and it is (see attached file.

As a side note, I add the date of the sermon as a fly over and the evening sermon posted without me having to open the module and then save it. ?? Who knows??

I did not see and place within the module to play with cache settings.

You cache settings mean that the module output is cached for 30 minutes. Thus if you add a new sermon, it will take up to 30 minutes till the module will show it.

The module itself has cache settings in the "Advanced" tab. You can exclude it from caching there if you can't wait the max 30 minutes it takes to refresh the cache.
