Support for SermonSpeaker 5.x is in bugfix mode only, the same as it is for Joomla 3.10.
I will not add any new features to this releases.
Please upgrade to SermonSpeaker 6.x and Joomla 4.x, which is better anyway.

I'd like to be able to press the download button on the detail site and have the sermon stored to the iTune music area for people who are traveling with iPhones.

I have no clue how that works, but I doubt you can specify where the browser should download the file to. That's usually up tot he browser/OS/user to decide.

I'm sorry. It looks like if I use the podcast that it will allow it to go to iTunes. I'll have to learn how to use the postcast functionality to accomplish this.

Yes, podcasts (or sermoncast in SermonSpeaker, it's the same thing) should integrate seamless into iTunes.
