Support for SermonSpeaker 5.x is in bugfix mode only, the same as it is for Joomla 3.10.
I will not add any new features to this releases.
Please upgrade to SermonSpeaker 6.x and Joomla 4.x, which is better anyway.

You take one of the many available modules or plugins from JED (Joomla Extension Directory) and put it on your site.

It doesn't depend on SermonSpeaker. Any social sharing module will work fine with SermonSpeaker. Since they just share the URL of the currently active page.

Plugins which are written specific for com_content (articles) will not work with SermonSpeaker.
I would have to look at that specific plugin how it works. Some are using a plugin event which is triggered by on an article page but not by SermonSpeaker.
Personally I would use a module, which will more likely work with all sort of extensions.
