Support for SermonSpeaker 5.x is in bugfix mode only, the same as it is for Joomla 3.10.
I will not add any new features to this releases.
Please upgrade to SermonSpeaker 6.x and Joomla 4.x, which is better anyway.

Question about sub-categories was created by tim shidal
I have a created a menu item for a Sermon List that is currently set to my root Category. I would like this particular menu item to display all sermons in the root Category along with all sub-categories. I've tried numerous settings but have not been able to achieve this result. Is this scenario possible? I appreciate any help. I'm using the default template: protostar.

There is a setting in the SermonSpeaker options, in the "Category" tab. Change "Include Subcategories" from "None" to how deep into the subcategories (how many levels) it should include the items. That should do the trick.

I found the problem. You got me pointed in the right direction. I had to go to the Global Configurations / Category tab - and then set the "include sub-categories" from None to All. Changing it just on the menu item did not make a change. However, changing the global configuration solved the problem. Many thanks!
