Importing Sermons from SS 4.5

I am attempting to rebuild my church's site and in upgrading for Joomla 2.5 to 3.4 I uninstalled SS as it said I would need to.
In doing so, I apparently lost all the files in the database, and in turn 5 years worth of sermons. I have the database, but I can't seem to get 5.3 to read the tables when I copy them from the other table over.

What am I doing wrong here?

best way i notice to do this is, on Joomla 3.4 install same version of Sermon Speaker that you've had before, add tables replacing the ones that are in database with the ones that you've had previously. then what you do is install current version of Sermon Speaker. this worked on couple sites that i've migrated from 2.5.x to 3.3.x

I thought this was fixed, but apparently, it imported the sermons, but none of the actual sermon text is in the body, they are all empty.

I am trying something else now, but am hoping someone may be able to shed some light...
