Support for SermonSpeaker 5.x is in bugfix mode only, the same as it is for Joomla 3.10.
I will not add any new features to this releases.
Please upgrade to SermonSpeaker 6.x and Joomla 4.x, which is better anyway.

We have a existing Joomla 1.5 website using an old version of SermonSpeaker that is set up to submit podcasts to iTunes using sermoncast. We are launching a new Joomla 3 website to replace the existing site, on a new server, with the latest version of SermonSpeaker and want to continue submitting our podcasts to the same place on iTunes. We did download the sermoncast module. Is there anything we need to do to insure a seamless transition when we launch the new site? I do have to say that we have no idea how the original sermoncast was configured but it is working.

Thomas provides in new version a custom field you can add tag to update the URL.
Changing Your RSS Podcast Feed URL
You can move your podcast feed from one location to another. To avoid losing subscribers, you must announce the change directly to all users who are subscribed to your feed. To do so, you should:
– Use the <itunes:new-feed-url> tag described in the iTunes RSS Tags section below.
– Set your web server to return an HTTP 301 redirect response when receiving a request for the old feed.
This will update the iTunes Store with the new feed URL and your subscribers will continue to receive new episodes automatically. Be sure to maintain the <itunes:new-feed-url> tag and the HTTP 301 redirect response for at least 4 weeks to ensure that most subscribers have attempted to download your most recent episode and have thereby received the new URL.
If you need additional help, contact us. Include the iTunes Store link to your podcast, which you can get by clicking the triangle next to your podcast’s Subscribe button in the iTunes Store.

Thank you for the quick reply. I do have to admit that I don't fully understand all of this, so hopefully there are step by step instructions available somewhere? Here's the link:

The SermonCast module only provides a handy link to the SermonSpeaker feed view. It isn't really needed
The real feed link will be compatible between your SermonSpeaker version and the one you install in Joomla 3. That is as long as you don't change your domain name
So you don't have to do anything. It will still work.

That is great news as the domain will be the same. How can I see what the feed link is?

You can check the URL in iTunes once you have subscribed.
In your case, it's marshillcc.com/index.php?option=com_serm...SS2.0&tmpl=component
The new URL will be marshillcc.com/index.php?option=com_serm...view=feed&format=raw which is compatible with your existing one.
You can test it here on SermonSpeaker.net:
www.sermonspeaker.net/index.php?option=c...SS2.0&tmpl=component will be automatically redirected to www.sermonspeaker.net/index.php?option=c...view=feed&format=raw
