Support for SermonSpeaker 5.x is in bugfix mode only, the same as it is for Joomla 3.10.
I will not add any new features to this releases.
Please upgrade to SermonSpeaker 6.x and Joomla 4.x, which is better anyway.

First I will mention that it works fine if I use the Menu - SermonSpeaker option. But I can not get the Sermon Speaker Module to display at all. No error messages. I've tried changing positions, layouts, added to multiple pages. Am I missing something?

To show the module you need:
  • Publish the module
  • Assign it to a visible position
  • Assign it to a menu item

Then it should at least show something.

If it still doesn't show anything, try enabling error reporting in the Joomla global configuration by setting it to maximum or development. That should give you error messages if there is a problem
