Support for SermonSpeaker 5.x is in bugfix mode only, the same as it is for Joomla 3.10.
I will not add any new features to this releases.
Please upgrade to SermonSpeaker 6.x and Joomla 4.x, which is better anyway.

Amazon S3 http vs https? was created by Bob Killmeier
Upon completion of upload to my Amazon S3 storage the URL is automatically created as http for the past few weeks. Originally it was https and that needs to be the default. I've searched the settings, options and Forum but don't see where the default is set.
Does the Player selection have anything to do with this setting?
I can edit it manually but would like it to be the default for this site.

I'm not aware of a change with this. It was always using http:// and never https:// to my knowledge.
The protocol is added here: github.com/Bakual/SermonSpeaker/blob/mas...s/file.json.php#L116
for the backend and
github.com/Bakual/SermonSpeaker/blob/mas...s/file.json.php#L136
for frontend.
You could change it there, but it would be overwritten with the next update.
Why do you need https to access a public available file? Doesn't sound to me like it should be SSL encrpyted

Thanks I'll check into modifying the code.
The site is not public it is members only and some of the members are extremely high on security... (read paranoid
