Support for SermonSpeaker 5.x is in bugfix mode only, the same as it is for Joomla 3.10.
I will not add any new features to this releases.
Please upgrade to SermonSpeaker 6.x and Joomla 4.x, which is better anyway.

Player Not Displaying

Player Not Displaying was created by Ivan
When I list all the sermons, the player does not show on the top of the screen and instead has the message "Player Needs JavaScript turned on." However, when I click on the speaker name or series, then the player works! It used to work more consistently when I first installed and tested it, but now I can't get it to regularly work.
I am using MP3 files, and have tried JW Player 5 and JW Player 6 to no avail. The problem can be seen here:
main.wefc.org.sg/index.php/sermons
In IE, Chrome, and iPhone I get the error message "Player needs JavaScript turned on". But in the sermon details page or list by series, the player shows and works well!

The problem is this sermon:
main.wefc.org.sg/index.php/sermon/18-fai...sed-on-god-s-purpose
There is an
in the filename. This doesn't work well together with the JavaScript for the player.
Try changing the filename and then resave the sermon with the new filename. That should fix it.
With the next release of SermonSpeaker, there will be a warning message when you save or edit the sermon and the filename isn't safe to use in an URL.
