Support for SermonSpeaker 5.x is in bugfix mode only, the same as it is for Joomla 3.10.
I will not add any new features to this releases.
Please upgrade to SermonSpeaker 6.x and Joomla 4.x, which is better anyway.
I have an existing 4.4 production environment on Joomla 2.5. I am working on migrating the site to Joomla 3.2. I want to do a fresh install of 3.2, not an upgrade. Is there any kind of a migration script to move a 4.4 sermonspeaker database to a 5.* version? There seem to be a number of database changes. I though I would ask before I started trying to build a script myself.
Are there other items to consider in upgrading to a 5.* version that need to be accounted for.
I have a fairly large (> 1000) sermon database and converting manually isn't very appealing.

The migration path is the same as if you would update directly:
In your Joomla 2.5, update SermonSpeaker to the latest available version. Currently that's 4.5.8. This version will also run in Joomla 3.x.
For you that means you can update to SermonSpeaker 4.5.8, then copy the database to your Joomla 3.x where you have SermonSpeaker 4.5.8 already installed. After that you update SermonSpeaker to 5.1.2.
