Support for SermonSpeaker 5.x is in bugfix mode only, the same as it is for Joomla 3.10.
I will not add any new features to this releases.
Please upgrade to SermonSpeaker 6.x and Joomla 4.x, which is better anyway.

Hi,

I've been making use of the skin feature in sermonspeaker recently.

I put a zip file of the skin into images/sermonSkins/, and then referenced it in the field in the sermonspeaker options.

However, when I press save it doesnt hold the value (it goes back to being blank), and no change occurs in the player itself.

Any ideas?

I think there is an issue within Joomla 3.2.0 and caching which doesn't update the configuration screen properly. You can try to disable the chache in Joomla configuration and maybe also delete the cache for com_config and try again.

Also the skin will only work for JW Player 5 and only if the skin is built for this player. There are older skins around which are not compatible.

To check: You should see the skin referenced in the JavaScript code on the frontend.
