Support for SermonSpeaker 5.x is in bugfix mode only, the same as it is for Joomla 3.10.
I will not add any new features to this releases.
Please upgrade to SermonSpeaker 6.x and Joomla 4.x, which is better anyway.

Player Problems on Mobile Devices was created by JR
I have been testing sermonspeaker on mobile devices, and have run into problems I feel you should be aware of.
I have chosen JW Player 5 as the default player, but when I browse to the sermons page, it shows as a black bar (on iphone4) and does not indicate there is a "play" button to begin playing the audio file. Is there a fix for this?
Also, when the title of the sermon is clicked, it will take you to that individual sermon page, but when the content appears, there is a brief message "cannot be played". I try tapping the player's bar, but nothing happens.
On a home computer, you can click the triangle at the left of the title of the sermon, and it will navigate you to that individual sermon on its own page, but this does not happen when browsing on mobile devices.
Thank you in advance for any guidance you may be able to provide.

Unfortunately I can't test it on an iPhone as I don't have access to one. I usually test it on my Windows phone where it works fine.
If the detailpage shows "cannot be played" it is probably an unsupported mp3 encoding or something like that.
The thing with mobiles is that the browser doesn't play mp3 files native. Usually it will play them in an own window. Thus the controls don't work the same way they do on a desktop.
