Support for SermonSpeaker 5.x is in bugfix mode only, the same as it is for Joomla 3.10.
I will not add any new features to this releases.
Please upgrade to SermonSpeaker 6.x and Joomla 4.x, which is better anyway.

"MyChurch Podcast" ? was created by Stephen Hale
Hi folks. I'm getting this as the Title for our feed...
I'm (very) new to this, though I'm fairly technically inclined. To make matters worse, I'm not the main systems administrator (let's not get into that), though I have pretty good access to the system.
Here's a link to our feed:
www.bendavidmjc.org/index.php?option=com...ype=audio&Itemid=227
Thanks for any help. I'm sure I'm missing something obvious, but I've spent hours trying to figure it out, and searched the forums here.

Have a look at the SermonSpeaker options. There is a tab named "SermonCast" where you can set all this things.
If you use a menu item for the feed, then all those settings can also be set in the menu item options. If left empty here, the settings from the global SermonSpeaker options are used.

Thomas:
Thanks for the response! I don't seem to have a "sermoncast" menu option under "Components-->SermonSpeaker-->"
The only way I can access Sermoncast at all is to look for it under "Extensions-->Module Manager-->SermonCast."
Under extensions--module manager--sermon cast I have the sermoncast set to show up on our page called "sermons." That can be accessed by a menu item, but I don't think sermoncast is theoretically connected with a menu item...am I missing something?
(you can look at www.bendavidmjc.org if that is helpful).
Thanks,
-Stephen

You should see an "Options" button in the SermonSpeaker backend. On the top where all those "New", "Edit", "Publish", ... buttons are. If you don't have this button, it means that you miss the access permissions for this.
You could create a new menu item for the feed, and set the parameters there. If you then link the SermonCast module to this new menu item, it will work as well.
If you don't want this menu item to appear on the site, you can use a little Joomla trick: Create a new dummy menu and add this menu item there. But don't assign this new menu to a module so it doesn't show anywhere. This way Joomla will know the Itemid, but the menu item will never be shown.
By the way: The SermonCast module doesn't generate the feed, it's just a simple way of showing the link to the actual podcast. The podcast (or sermoncast to use this term) is generated by the SermonSpeaker component. The menu item you assign in this module is just the "&Itemid=123" part that gets added to the link. Basically it's not even needed. But it allows for a lot of tricks (like multiple podcasts eg based category or type) and nice URLs (if SEF is enabled).
