Support for SermonSpeaker 5.x is in bugfix mode only, the same as it is for Joomla 3.10.
I will not add any new features to this releases.
Please upgrade to SermonSpeaker 6.x and Joomla 4.x, which is better anyway.

Hi All,

I'm running some tests on my test site and I've encountered a problem with my Joomla 3.1 + Sermon Speaker 5..

www.urbansofa.ca/index.php?option=com_se...iessermon&Itemid=121
As you can see, the sermon lists shows up correctly.
However, when clicking on either sermons, the page fails to display the proper articles.

Can someone look into this and give me some pointers as to what the problem might be?

Greatly appreciated!

Roy

Hi Roy

This is a syntax error in the code that somehow slipped in. I've fixed it and would appreciate if you could test it:

I also found another bug with the Latest Sermons module. The parameters do not load correctly there. The fixed module is here in case you tested this as well:

If it works for you, I would be happy to get your feedback. I can release the updated version then tomorrow.

Hi Thomas,

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly.

I installed the updated plugin and it's now working like a charm.

the module worked too, however I had problem getting it to display properly on the pages.
I'm not sure if this is my problem since i'm still fiddling with joomla 3.1

But in order to get it to display, I had to modify the module options under Menu Assignments, and select Home Page.

The drop down menu under the Options tab doesn't seem to do any thing..

Thanks for the feedback.

It's normal that you need to assign the module to some (or all) menu items. That's a Joomla thing as far as I understand it.

Which dropdown menu do you mean?
