Support for SermonSpeaker 4.x is canceled as it is for Joomla 2.5. I will gladly assist you with minor issues but I will not fix any bugs anymore in this releases.
The fix is to upgrade to SermonSpeaker 5.x and Joomla 3.x, which is better anyway.

I have the 'download' column checked in single sermon view, but the download link is not appearing.

If enabled in the other views, a download link appears (list view for example), but not in single sermon view. I can't see to determine why and ive been over the settings multiple times to make sure I didnt miss anything. Any advice would be appreciated.

Disregard. After changing the single sermon layout to anything other than 'protostar' it began working correctly.

I think in the Protostar the download link would have been in the top right dropdown menu (the cog wheel one). But I'd have to check to verify
