× Support for SermonSpeaker 4.x is canceled as it is for Joomla 2.5. I will gladly assist you with minor issues but I will not fix any bugs anymore in this releases.
The fix is to upgrade to SermonSpeaker 5.x and Joomla 3.x, which is better anyway.

They're already set to 250M

Which one applies to SermonSpeaker?

In frontend, the one in the root directory applies. In backend the one in /administrator applies.

However there is no "max_upload_limit" directive in PHP, what you likely want is "upload_max_filesize". This one is set to 24M in your case.
The there is also another setting to take care of. That is "post_max_size". This is currently set to 32M in your installation.

These are the two settings which SermonSpeaker is checking. For the message it takes the lower of the two.
