Support for SermonSpeaker 4.x is canceled as it is for Joomla 2.5. I will gladly assist you with minor issues but I will not fix any bugs anymore in this releases.
The fix is to upgrade to SermonSpeaker 5.x and Joomla 3.x, which is better anyway.

Would anybody know how to integrate something like this with Sermonspeaker? This would be AWESOME, so I could have my pastor link to a specific time in his sermon on his blog.

(and if it's currently possible with sermonspeaker, forgive me, as I don't see it)

I had a look at the page and didn't understand how it would require except that it needs an additional time parameter?

My understanding so far is that such things need prerequisites on serverside so the files can be streamed and fast forwarded to seek points. That's a server thing as far as I know.
JW Player would support this with a bit altered setup, but I never tried it out myself.
