Support for SermonSpeaker 4.x is canceled as it is for Joomla 2.5. I will gladly assist you with minor issues but I will not fix any bugs anymore in this releases.
The fix is to upgrade to SermonSpeaker 5.x and Joomla 3.x, which is better anyway.

Hello Thomas,
Even when Amazon S3 is selected in the options, the frontpage upload page uploads to the local server path. The selector where you can choose uploaded sermons, works ok. It looks in the Amazon S3 bucket. It is only that the upload has the wrong destination.

Also sermon duration does not seem to work with S3
And I wonder it would be possible to have the subdirectories system work with S3?

Any chance you can look into this?
regards, RIchard

I will have to look into why the S3 upload doesn't work. But the other questions I can answer:
- ID3 lookup (and thus also sermon duration lookup) doesn't work since there is no direct access to the file. So this makes sense.
- Subdirectories aren't supported by AmazonS3 as far as I know.

Are you using the Flash uploader or the HTML one? Because only the Flash one supports uploading to Amazon S3 currently. The HTML uploader always puts the files in the local path.
