Support for SermonSpeaker 4.x is canceled as it is for Joomla 2.5. I will gladly assist you with minor issues but I will not fix any bugs anymore in this releases.
The fix is to upgrade to SermonSpeaker 5.x and Joomla 3.x, which is better anyway.

Error 500 means that the server got a fatal error on his side. Usually that's coming from either a script timing out or the file being to big. The server error log will tell you what caused it.

You can check the server settings in the Joomla backend under "Site" -> "System Information" -> PHP Information. Look for
  • memory_limit
  • upload_max_filesize
  • post_max_size
  • max_execution_time
Those are most often the settings which prevent uploading big files.

You can also try to make the mp3 file smaller and see if that works. I found that a file with
  • Bitrate: 24 kBit/s
  • Sampling: 16 kHz
  • Mono
is sufficient for only speech. For music you need of course a much higher setting.

Hello brother.

I find those names you're saying, but I could solve the problem because my remote site enters the sermon and went up to the folder that hosts the sermons "images" and manually subi that sermon. So if it works.

While I wish I could do it from joomla and not from a program to manage the remote site.

Thanks for helping.

The first three values (memory_limit, upload_max_filesize, post_max_size) need to be bigger than your filesize. If they are lower or the same, then that is the issue. If it's not your own physical server, that means you need to contact your hoster so he can raise these limits. These are server settings which usually you can't change yourself.

Contact your server provider, if you can't change the php.ini yourself.
