Support for SermonSpeaker 4.x is canceled as it is for Joomla 2.5. I will gladly assist you with minor issues but I will not fix any bugs anymore in this releases.
The fix is to upgrade to SermonSpeaker 5.x and Joomla 3.x, which is better anyway.

Hi Ramakrishna

First I have some questions:
  • Is there an URL where I could have a look at it?
  • Which evrsion of SermonSpeaker are you using?
  • Which browser are you using?
  • Which filetype is your sermonfile?

There is only one setting which controls if the JW Player will show the Flashplayer or the HTML5 player as default. I guess you found this setting already.
Keep in mind that this only works together with the (default) JW Player.

Also HTML5 audio and video playback has some fundamental issues with the various browsers: There is not a single format which is supported by all major browsers. One would think that each browser can play mp3 files, but Firefox can't do that. www.w3schools.com/html/html5_audio.asp has more info about this.

Without having a look myself, it's almost impossible for me to tell you what's wrong. It could be anything.
It's working on my testing site with the latest releases of Joomla and SermonSpeaker.

You could try and see if a non-core plugin creates an issue or if it will work with another template.
